Humphrey has spent 20 years operating internationally at Board level, for ten of them as Chief Executive. A chartered engineer with an MBA from Cranfield and a Diploma in Senior Executive Coaching, he has also had six years in the public sector introducing private sector approaches to improve performance.
He has had extensive experience of leading change in private and public sector organisations and now specialises in Senior Executive Coaching for high performance, leadership development and rapid organisational change.
Humphrey's experience at Board level included both operational, business development and general management roles. Having held two Managing Director appointments in the private sector, he became the Managing Director of a large engineering organisation in the public sector, with the remit to lead its transformation into a competitive and profitable business. This was followed by a period leading an £800 million, EU funded business development programme.
During this time Humphrey has:
- Led numerous performance improvement programmes involving culture, strategy, structure, process and system change.
- Provided external coaching for Directors and Senior Managers to develop change leadership competencies and enable the acceleration of culture and performance change.
- Experienced a Senn-Delaney led culture change and senior leadership development programme within a world-leading American company.
- Benefited from coaching within a ”high flyer” programme and throughout his career.
- Managed very large budget projects and programmes, including change management programmes.
