Chris Gulliver is Chair of the Coaching Expert Panel of the Institute of Busines Consultants and is accredited as a Senior Executive Coach by The Oxford School of Coaching & Mentoring.
He is a director of LeaderShape Ltd and currently coaches and mentors chief executives and their top teams, either individually or in peer groups.
This coaching activity covers strategic issues relating to growth and change, leadership, internal/external relationship management, people development, organisational change and many operational issues. Sectors include marketing services, business services, financial services, IT, electronics, engineering manufacture, scientific equipment, printing and many more.
Chris is also a UK Director of the European Mentoring & Coaching Council.
Chris’s background is as a qualified accountant whose early career included experience as a management consultant working on retail turnaround situations. Since then he has built up a broad industrial background that includes senior financial, marketing and chief executive positions in a wide range of business sectors including chemicals, plastics, light engineering, home improvements, industrial maintenance and corporate finance. This includes a wealth of experience in completing acquisitions and then making them work.
Chris a very experienced non-executive director, is the author of a number of articles in business journals and has presented seminars on a variety of subjects relating to business management and growth. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, is a past Regional Chairman and is a course tutor for the IoD Director Development programme.
